Voter Intimidation? No Problem!
This is the new Unicorn Rainbows Amerika. Here's video of thuggery in question:
"You're gonna be ruled by the black man." Video:
Michelle Malkin has covered this story since the beginning and has a lot of background. She also has an interesting witness affidavit.

Michelle Obama: Proud Of America At Long Last
Shocking stuff! Especially when you consider that this is a lady who has done well in life because of the opportunities America made available to her. With so much to be thankful for, she hasn't been able to feel pride in her country until now? Think about this: Are we going to be proud of a blame-America-first First Lady?

Fred Thompson Concedes Nothing!
Fred came in fifth in Nevada - no surprise - and third in South Carolina. Ouch. Obviously the media thought he would announce he was quitting, so as he thanked supporters in Columbia, S.C., they stayed with his speech, waiting for him to say he was done. Instead, he delivered a rip-roaring speech about the beauty of our Constitution and the nature of conservatism. I see no reason for him to get out in a hurry - or at all. We need Fred to keep talking about the importance of conservative ideals to our country. Watch the speech!
Freadhead till I'm dead!

Nevada Caucus - Fred Thompson Carries Clark County Precinct 2455
Woo HOOOOOOO!!!
My husband, son and I just got back from our caucus at Cimmaron Memorial High School in northwest Las Vegas. Here's the count from Precinct 2455:
Fred Thompson - 4
Mitt Romney - 3
Ron Paul - 2
Mike Huckabee - 1
McCain, Giuliani, Hunter - 0 votes each
My favorite memory of this caucus: When the votes were being tallied up, a Ron Paul guy gasped in amazement, "Thompson!"
More good news: I'm going to be a county delegate! [insert earpiercing shriek of Republican joy]
Meanwhile, the cretins at AP think they have enough info to call the Nevada race for Mitt Romney. They don't say what they base that on, but it sure wasn't results. They made this announcement before any results were in. Women's intuition, perhaps!

New Fred Thompson Ad - Consistent Conservative
This is Fred's new ad to play in South Carolina tomorrow evening between 6:25 and 6:30 pm est. One whole minute of consistent conservatism.
Hucka-nasty Push Poll
What did I tell you? I'm glad the recipient was smart enough to record the incident. This is a Huckabee push poll attacking Fred Thompson in South Carolina. Has he no Hucka-shame!

Huckabee Using Push Polls In Nevada
LAS VEGAS, NV -- First thing this morning (ok, 10:06am PST) I got a call from an automated poll. It asked if I was going to participate in the caucuses this Saturday (1/19/08). Then it asked if one of the candidates I supported was Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain or Romney. NO! Then it asked each of those four names one at a time. NO! NO! NO! NO! Then some issue questions in "yes or no" format: abortion, illegal immigration, guns.
Then started the really pushy part of the poll. Did it make a difference to me if a candidate was supported by the painters union? Did it make a difference if the poll told me some magical fact about Mike Huckabee? At that point I declined to participate further.
Next time I get one of these, I'm going to stay with it and listen more closely to the questions and take notes.

Fred Thompson Wins The Debate And Restarts The Reagan Revolution
It seems right from the git-go, The Others are trying to steal Fred's issues and ideas. Let them try! They are pale substitutes for the real thing. The Others know that Fred is their greatest threat in South Carolina. Luntz's focus group hearts Fred 4 Ever:
Fred to Mike Huckabee: I knew Ronald Reagan and you, sir, are no Ronald Reagan. Or something like that. Watch.

Fred Thompson Talks To Fox's Bill Hemmer
Is it possible that Bill Hemmer has the makings of a Fredhead? Listen closely:
Fred Thompson Schools Giuliani On Amnesty
Fred Thompson's performance at the ABC/Facebook debates in NH was remarkable. He set himself apart from the others as a sensible, conservative grown-up. It was a breath of fresh air to witness a politician who could express his point in so few words. The other GOP candidates were giddy schoolgirls by comparison. Way to go, Fred!
Right now Fred is raising money for his South Carolina media purchase. You can follow his fundraising efforts at Fred08.com.

Iowa Caucus Results - Fred Is Amped And So Am I
Fred Thompson finished third and he is staying in the race! Watch the video at the Fred File. He sounds really excited - just the encouragement many Fredheads (and Fredhead-wannabes) have been needing! If he had any more "fire in the belly", global warming would exist! Let's keep Fred worked up like this by donating to his campaign.
Savor this Fred-alicious tidbit:
"It looks like somebody's gonna need to carry a strong consistant conservative message and it looks like it ought to be me!"
Update:
It looks like the fired-up Fred is too much for Fox News, whose pundits were most interested in discussing how the surprising results affected the guys who finished first, second and fourth. As if we care. ABCNews.com totally PWN'd FoxNews.com on the breaking news of Fred staying in the race. Imagine that.
Here's something else I noticed tonight - compare and contrast:
CNN Election Center 2008 Primaries and Caucuses
vs.
Fox You Decide 2008 Iowa
One of these two election coverage web sites is shockingly lame. Weird, huh? What gives?
